Christmas Cookies and Hamantaschen cookies




 It is that time again where we bake and decorate Christmas cookies! Our traditional recipes are here and for the decorated ones are here

However, this time we try a new cookie that it is triangular in shape filled with jam....it is delicious

Hamantaschen 

600 grams of flour

200 grams of butter

150 grams of sugar

3  eggs

2 teaspoons of baking powder

a pinch of salt

jam (in my case apricots)


Mix sugar and butter until is creamy. Add the eggs. Incorporate flour, pinch of salt. and baking powder. Mix until you have a dough firm to roll pin and cut cookies. Let iot rest for 1 hour in the fridge. Roll it and cut in circles. Place a little of jam in the middle. Use your fingers to shape it in a triangle form. Place it in he fridge for 30 minutes. Bake it at 350F for 10 minutes or until golden brown. ENJOY!

  2. Your cookies look wonderful. I always love the colorful iced cookies! We used to make Hamantaschen and fill it with leckvar (prune butter)
