Waffles and blinis

During summer, I like to eat waffles with fresh made fruit, and blinis with fresh made jams.

Waffles

3  eggs, separated
2 tsp sugar
70 g unsalted butter
300 g whole milk
240 g all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Fresh cut strawberries, peaches, and mango.
Home made natural yogurt.

Beat the egg white until foamy. Set aside. Melt the butter. Set aside.
Beat the egg yolk with the sugar until it is creamy. Add the milk and vanilla extract. Incorporate the flour and baking powder. Add the melted butter. Fold the egg white. Place 1/2 a cup in a waffle maker. Enjoy with fresh fruit, honey and natural yogurt. ENJOY!

Blinis

160 g flour
200g milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon of salt
oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients (except oil). Leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. I like to do it the night before, and leave it in the fridge to make slow risen.

In a pan, place some oil. Fry the blinis one minute per side. Save them warm with natural yogurt and home made jam. ENJOY!
