Strawberry Basil Ice Cream....and Of Course....Figs, Mascarpone Ice Cream Again!.....

With simply ingredients.....a delicious Strawberry Basil Ice Cream....
Figs and Mascarpone Ice cream.....Do you want a scoop?

I will start with the Figs and Mascarpone Ice cream.....It is the same as I did last year, but I have doubled the amount of figs....delicious!!......ENJOY!!

Now, with the Strawberry Basil Ice Cream. I read about it in some blogs. Some people use cook basil, frozen basil, dry basil, and so on. I was confused; therefore, I use my own strawberry ice cream recipe, I went to the garden and cut some fresh basil leaves, and voila.....Strawberry Basil Ice Cream!!.....it is delicious....better than I expected.....

Strawberry Basil Ice Cream

1/2 can condensed milk
1/2 can evaporated milk
1 tablespoons honey (if you want to add more sweet use more honey)
100 grams of Greek yogurt
3/4 cups of milk
1 egg yolks
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
250 grams of strawberries
1/2 cup of fresh chopped basil

In 1/2 cup milk,  dissolve the cornstarch and the egg yolk. Heat the remaining milk, and slowly add the milk to the egg yolks and cornstarch. Cook until it forms a cream. Let it cool.

In a blender, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, honey and Greek yogurt.  Add the milk cream (cold). Add to the mixture the strawberries. In a bowl, combine the strawberry mixture with chopped basil. Place this mixture in the ice cream maker, and follow the instructions. ENJOY!!
