Figs with Marzipan and Vanilla Custard Sauce
Figs have arrived, and we have been enjoying them. I have made Galette again, and we love it. The recipe is posted here. This year also I have made strawberry, apricot, and cherry galette.

I had some figs and marzipan as leftover from the Galette. What I did?. First wash and dry the figs, cut the superior part, with a spoon take out the flesh (eat it!), fill it with marzipan, and put it in the oven (I put it with the galette) until they are done and juicy (about 15-20 minutes). Serve it cold on a vanilla custard. It is an elegant and delicious dessert. ENJOY!!
