My vegetable garden

As I mentioned before, where I live I plant....I have to have my hands on dirt, and have at least my herbs for cooking. When I do plant my seeds? In waning moon. That is how I learned. These days I'm making my new plants since we are under the right moon phase. Winter here is very short; therefore, last year I planted some carrots, beets, cabbage, and now I'm about to harvest them. I planted fava beans, and now they have flowers. Two of my tomatoes survived the frost, and I'm having flowers again!....I will make more tomato plants during these days. My herbs survived the winter, and now we are eaten them!! I have rue, mint, oregano, chives, rosemary, green onions, parsley, cilantro.

My peaches and apricots are flowering...and I hope to have figs this year!!

I don't always buy seeds, sometimes I used what I have in the kitchen. Last year, I bought some dry Thai chili, and I planted some seeds....the result? A chili tree!....I had my unique Christmas tree full of red chilis...now, it is flowering again.

What do I do if I can't eat everything? I freeze it or dry them....specially with herbs like rue and mint

I hope you like my vegetable garden.... I only use pots....

  1. This is so cool! I don't feel my best eating plants though I love them, but can't live without some fresh herbs.
