For me Christmas is about marzipan, orangettes, and chocolates!!.....This is a fast and delicious bon-bon to make during this season.
Marzipan with orangettes covered in chocolate
150 grams of almond flour (not fine)
150 grams of sugar
55 grams of water
1/2 teaspoon of almond essence
Orangettes
150 grams dark chocolate
20 grams cacao butter
Pistachio for decorating
Bring to boil the water, sugar, and almond essence It has to boil at medium heat until it thickens. In rainy motion, add the almond flour. Stir it and continue cooking it for 5 minutes at low heat. Let it cool.
Take a portion of the marzipan with the size of a teaspoon. Place a piece of orangette (1/2 cm). Make balls and freeze it.
In marie bath, dissolve the cacao butter, and then add the chocolate, and stir it until it dissolves. Place a frozen marzipan ball in the chocolate, and cover it. Decorate it with a pistachio. Keep them in the fridge. ENJOY!
Seriously, this looks so much BETTER than the expensive storebought ones! Love the combo of flavours too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had marzipan in years - these look so good!
ReplyDeleteThe combination sounds amazing. I love chocolate and orange together but I think I've only tasted marzipan once.
