For a long time, I wanted to make Raisins and Rum Ice Cream....it is a classic ice cream that I could enjoy at home.
Raisins
4 tablespoons of golden raisins
2 1/2 tablespoons of rum
Mix everything in a glass jar, and leave it for 24 hours or until the raisins have absorbed the rum. You can modify the proportions.
Vanilla Ice cream
3 eggs
480 grams of cream (35%)
240 grams of milk
110 grams of sugar
3 tablespoons of milk powder
2 teaspoons of vanilla.
Mix everything together and cook over medium low heat until thick. Let it cool. Place the raisins/rum mixture on this custard and mix it.

In an ice cream maker mix it for 30 minutes, until gets the appropriate ice cream texture. ENJOY!!
So creamy and delicious! I love the combo of rum and raisins...which always reminds me of holidays :-)
