Potatoes’ recipes

When my daughter was little, she is to wave "good bye" to the dishes she liked. One day I asked her why she was doing that, and she said ....Mom...you make delicious dishes only once, and I know that I will not eat them again.....I laughed, but she was right. Now, when I dig my potatoes from the garden, I repeat the dishes we like the most,....Potato salad with home made mayonnaise, Fougasse with potatoes in the dough, and home made gnocchi with home made pesto....

I have to admit that I was never fun of eating potatoes; however, eating them right from the garden is a total different experience for the senses....

I'm taking a short vacation; thus,  I will not be visiting your blog for a couple of weeks....

Potato salad

Fresh potatoes boiled

Fresh carrots grated

Fresh herbs. I used chives, dill, basil, parsley, cilantro flowers, and oregano

Home made mayonnaise

Mix all together in the quantities you desire....and ENJOY!

  1. LOL Your daughter is so cute! Those colourful potatoes are really gorgeous and so are the recipes. I love esp. the Fourgasse.

  2. If there is a more versatile vegetable than potatoes I can't think what it is, and they are packed with nutrients too.

  6. I've not had potatoes prepared with freshly dug potatoes but I can imagine how good the dishes you prepared were. Karen (Back Road Journal)
