Apple and Almonds Cake



Autumn is here.....and apples are part of mi kitchen now....

This is a very easy, tasty, and fast cake. I made it  only with almond flour, but next time I will make it in combination with some all purpose flour because it crumbles a little.....however, it is a delicious cake!

Apple and Almonds Cake

4  apples 
1 1/2 cup almond flour
3 eggs
100 grams unsalted butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup  sugar + 4 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond essence
Sliced almonds to decorate

Wash and diced the apples. Place them in a bowl with 4 tablespoons of sugar. Let it rest for 10 minutes to extract all the natural juices.

In a mixer, combine the butter and sugar, and beat them until they are creamy. Add the eggs, and combine it well. Add the almond flour, baking powder, and almond essence. Once everything is well mixed, add the diced almonds. Mix it well, and place it in an oven tray. Distribute sliced almonds on top. Bake it in a preheated  oven at 365F for 40 minutes or until is well done. ENJOY!
