Making vegetarian winners for hot dog

We love hot-dogs, and I have made a post about how we eat it before

We love it with tomatoes, avocado, kimchi and mayonnaise.

I make Hilmar's bread, and it is the best!!

These days, I'm making my own vegetarian winners. A dear friend shared this recipe with me:

170 grams of sundried tomatoes (not in oil)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons of cumin
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
4 tablespoons of cooked rice
4 teaspoons of corn starch

Soak the sundried tomatoes for at least 5 hours. Drain them well, and keep a small portion of this water in case you need it.

In a food processor, blend the sundried tomatoes along with the seeds first,. When you have a paste, add the remaining ingredients. You need to end up with a firm dough. In case you need moisture, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of the water used to soak the tomatoes.

Weight portions between 85-90 grams. Make a piece like a winner with your hands

Wrap it in a piece of cloth, and tied them in both ends. Place it in the fridge for 2 hours to make them firm. Boil water. Place the winners 5 minutes in the freezer before boiling them. Boil them for 5 minutes (I turn them half way through).

Strain them and if you wish, you can sautee them for 2 minutes

Make your hot dog!

You have to bake Hilmar's bread
