I saw this bread in youtube, and I had to make it......it is a soft, tasty, delicious bread!!.....Im in love with this youtube channel
I made half of the recipe, and we really enjoyed this bread. Next time, I will make it half size because they end up being very big.
Croissant like bread
This is half of the recipe
315 g all purpose flour
80 gr of water
80 gr of milk
40 gr cooking oil
30 gr sugar
4 gr instant dried yeast（1 tsp）
3 gr Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
40 grams of butter
Beat the egg, and mix it with water and milk. Continue beating it. add sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix it well. Add the oil, mix it well. Add the flour, and kneed it. Let it rise for 30 minutes, and with your hands with oil, fold it 4 sides. Let it rest for 30 minutes, and repeat the folding with your oily hands. Cover it, and let it rise for 2 hours.
On an oily base, flatten the dough in a rectangle, and add butter. Fold it in thirds by the longest side (you can watch the video). Place butter in one-half and fold it in half. Divide it in three pieces (the full recipe is for 6 breads). Fold each piece in half, and let it rest for 10 minutes. Twist it and make a circle and tie the ends. Let it rest covered in a warm place for 2 hours. Brush it with a beaten egg, and sprinkle some seeds (in my case poppy seeds) on one side. Bake it for 20 minutes or until golden brown at 365F. I ate it with my home made peach jam.
