Strawberry time...Pavlova with Strawberry and Vanilla Custard



Strawberry season is here, and I could buy a box to enjoy a sweet in the start of this spring!

Pavlova

300 grams of sugar
240 g of egg whites (6 egg whites)
1 pinch of cream of tartar or salt
1 teaspoon of vinegar
1 teaspoonful of  vanilla paste

Beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar or salt until you have formed strong picks. Add the vinegar and vanilla paste and fold it softly. Place it over parchment paper, and bake it at 110C for 90 minutes. Leave it for 2 hours in the oven with closed door. Then transfer to the fridge.

Wash strawberries, slice them and add some sugar, vanilla, and a teaspoon of your favorite liquor if you want.

Make a vanilla custard cream. Let it cool.

Place a cool pavlova on a plate, add on top vanilla custard cream, and strawberries on top. ENJOY!
