Calamares en su tinta
2 chopped onions
3 cloves of garlic chopped
100 g of fried tomato
800 g of squid rings
3 teaspoons of squid ink
1 glass of white wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pinch of ground pepper
Olive oil
In a pot, heat the olive oil and fry the onion and garlic. When they are translucent, add the fried tomato along with the calamari. Add the white wine, salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes or until the calamari are soft and cooked. Enjoy with a glass of wine and s good sourdough home made bread. ENJOY!
Very interesting recipe. I am not familiar with eating seafood but it looks good!
ReplyDeleteI love the dramatic colour and I bet the flavour is amazing too since I ADORE calamari. The bread looks terrific with perfect ear.

ReplyDeleteI once made paella (so much work!) and as far as I know that is the only time I have cooked calamari. The best I ever had was in Croatia a few years ago.
