This rice paper rolls are excellent for eating in hot summer days, and for cleaning leftovers in the fridge.
I don't have quantities, but a list of things you can use for filling them.
Rice Paper Rolls
Round rice papers
Thin rice noodles
Salmon, shrimps or any protein you want to eat
Lettuce
Mint
Cilantro
Green onions
Omelet made with scramble eggs and herbs, and cut them thin in stripes.
Sauce
1 tablespoon of fish sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
Sliced red chili
Drops of lime
Soak a round rice paper for 30 seconds. Fill them with lettuce, herbs, thin rice noodles previously cooked, protein and eggs. Fold it and serve them with a sauce of your desire. You can use mayonnaise too.....ENJOY!!
They both look fanfreakingtastic!
ReplyDeleteWe used to make something very similar, and haven't done so for quite a while. Maybe it's time to do it again.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job rolling them. I make them and they can be a little tricky. Mint is a must in my rolls. I usually use tofu as well.
