This year has gone in a blink of an eye......last week was January, 2025, and next week will be December, 2026!....I need to start baking cookies again!....hahahaha....
Seriously this year went really fast. In any case, I enjoyed visiting your kitchen, tasting your dishes, and enjoying your adventures!
I wish you and your families all the best during these holidays, and all the best for 2026!....and keep cooking!!
This month has been a busy month in the kitchen. Not only cookies, panettone, Christmas brioches, and cakes, but also finger food.
Here you have two delicious and fast ideas to make no recipes.
1) Sliced cucumber with hard boiled eggs with mayonnaise and smoked salmon on top
2) Baked mushrooms with cheese garlic and oregano. Chop the mushrooms stems, and stir fry them with garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano. Let it cool. Mix it with Parmigiano Reggiano grated cheese. Fill the mushrooms with this mix, and bake it at 375F for 20 minutes.

They are all very yummy! I love esp. those pistachio bisoctti. Happy Holidays to you and yours!!
ReplyDeleteDear Marcela, I love such delicious treats and I just baked the last of my Christmas cookies... which I always put in a bowl so they get eaten up very quickly... ha, by whomever :-)) Anyway, I'm baking some fresh ones again this morning.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and all the best for the coming year.
I always look forward to your wonderful recipes.
Thank you so much, Viola
The cookies, stuffed mushrooms, and the biscotti, all look wonderful. Happy Holidays to you, Marce!
