550 g white bread flour
110 grams sourdough
2 teaspoon dry instant yeast
1 teaspoon of sugar
40 g olive oil
360 g of water, lukewarm, plus extra to spray
10 grams of fine sea salt
Vegetables to decorate: chard, zucchini flowers, colored tomatoes, colored bell peppers (they were previously roasted with hot pepper which gave it more flavor), oregano branches and black olives
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the sourdough, water and olive oil. Knead for about 8 minutes. The dough is a little liquid, do not worry.
Place the dough in a previously oiled bowl and let it rise for 2 hours in a warm place.
With damp hands, put stretched dough on a baking sheet(parchment paper). Stretch and decorate as desired. Let rise for 30 minutes. Drizzle with salt and olive oil.
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 410F or until golden brown .... delicious!
Such a fun and beautiful bread!
ReplyDeleteHi, my dear Marcela. It´s so long since I don´t practice my english (nearly 20 years). When I lived in Canary Islands I used to practice it every day, at work. If you don´t mind, I would like to write you in English. I don´t have anybody to speak English here in Madrid.
ReplyDeleteI think is a yummy dough. perfect for a dinner or lunch. Many kisses
No problem! You are welcome to write and practice your English. By the way, your written English is very good. Abrazotes, Marcela....
