Kimchi pancake (Kimchi-buchimgae)



I love Kimchi!...spicy, sour and full of probiotics....

Kimchi pancake is very easy to make, healthy and fulfilling....


Kimchi-buchimgae

1 cup of flour
2 tablespoons of sourdough or 1/2 teaspoon of instant yeast
Water as needed
2 cups of kimchi
salt
green onions

Mix the flour, sourdough (or yeast), and water to make a thick pancake batter. Leave it over the counter for 4 hours. After 4 hours, add the chopped kimchi, and chopped green onions. Leave it in the fridge for 2 hours. You can add other vegetables as well like carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms. I like my pancakes without vegetables.






In a pan, add olive oil and fry them in both sides. Serve them warm with salad. Enjoy!

  1. They look lipsmackingly delicious. Adding kimchi and sourdough to the pancakes must have given them some extra flavours and aroma.
