Mango Season....Mango Lassi and Mango Lassi Ice cream

It's mango season .... and exactly 2019 at this time, we were enjoying mangoes in India .... for the first time I ate a mango just taken from the tree! .... my friend K has mango trees in her home in Mumbai ... and we enjoyed fresh mango ...

I buy ataulfo ​​mangoes. I peel and freeze them in bags of 250 grams. I have found that it gives more flavor to mango preparations than fresh mango.

Mango Lassi ice cream

2 eggs
480 grams of cream (35%)
240 grams of milk
140 grams of sugar
3 tablespoons of milk powder
2 teaspoons of rose water
500 grams of frozen mango
3 pods of ground cardamom

Mix everything (except mango and rose water) and cook over medium low heat until thick. Let it cool. Put in a blender along with the mango to make a cream. Add rose water. Make ice cream in a machine or as you wish.

 Mango Lassi

250 grams of frozen mango

3 plain yogurt
250 grams of milk
Sugar to taste
1 teaspoon of rose water
3 pods of ground cardamom

Put everything in a blender and serve .... Enjoy!
