Double Shrimps (dry and fresh) Fried Rice


I love fried rice, it is a perfect dish to use the veggies that you have in the fridge!

Fried rice

2 cups of calrose rice cooked al dente and cold. It is better to have the cooked rice from the day before.
120 grams of shrimps
2 tablespoon of dry shrimps previously soaked for 4 hours in warm water
broccoli 
carrots
sesame oil
olive oil
6 garlic cloves
1 piece of ginger (2.5 cms) grated 
3 eggs

In a wok, place some olive oil, sesame oil, 2 garlic cloves chopped, and fry the shrimps. Set aside.


In a wok, place some olive oil, sesame oil, 2 garlic cloves chopped, the grated ginger and fry the carrots with the broccoli. Set aside.


In a wok, place some olive oil, sesame oil, and make a scramble eggs. Set aside.


In a wok, place some olive oil, sesame oil, 2 garlic cloves chopped, and fry the rice.


Add the shrimps, dry shrimps and the veggies. Fry and mix all together.

Add the scramble eggs, and season it with some soy sauce.





For Fely and Javier....these are the dry shrimps!

  2. We make fried rice quite often, not exactly the same as this but not fundamentally different. It's a dish I always enjoy. We generally add some red pepper flakes for a little heat.
