Orange Candied Peel and Marzipan Ice Cream

Organizing my freezer, I found a piece of marzipan that was left from the stollen I made in Christmas. Also, we have been drinking a lot of orange juice for its vitamin C; therefore, I have made orange peel candied. With both ingredients, I made .....

Orange Candied Peel and Marzipan Ice Cream

100 grams of marzipan in pieces
120 grams of orange candied peel in pieces

Vanilla Ice cream base. I use this as a base for vanilla ice cream. In this case, I reduced the sugar.

1 eggs
240 grams of cream (35%)
120 grams of milk
50 grams of sugar
2 tablespoons of milk powder
1/2 teaspoon of almond essence.

Mix everything, and cook it at medium low heat until is thick. Let it cool.

Add the marzipan and orange candied peel to the cream base, and mix it. Make your ice cream in an ice cream maker if you have one, or freeze it accordingly.
