Yee Sang Prosperity Salad....Happy Lunar New Year

 

Yee Sang is a Malaysian dish salad that is made for the Lunar New Year. You can make it with any vegetables you have, but it must include fish and grapefruit. Grapefruit is to have well being and good luck!

The amount of each ingredient will depend on the number of people. You cut everything, arrange it in a circular plate, put dressing on top, and every ones toss it with chopsticks like in a battle....it is very fun!....and the salad was delicious....

Ingredients

Purple cabbage

Green Cabbage

Grapefruit

Scramble eggs

Cilantro

Pieces of fried dumpling dough

Steamed salmon

Place on top the dressing of your choice. Toss it....ENJOY!
