Dark Chocolate and Orangettes Gelatto


Sometimes, there are no pictures to describe the real flavors of some dishes....and this is one example.

I love good chocolate, and it seems that it is very difficult to find it these days. I found a good cacao from Peru, and I knew what I wanted to make.....

Dark Chocolate and Orangettes Gelatto


3 eggs

480 grams of cream (35%)

240 grams of milk

100 grams of sugar

3 tablespoons of milk powder

1 teaspoons of vanilla paste

1/4 teaspoon of salt

60 grams of good cocoa powder

120 grams orangettes in small pieces


Mix everything together except the orangettes, and cook over medium low heat until thick. Let it cool. Place it in the gelato maker,  and incorporate the orangettes pieces after 10 minutes. The total process should be 25 minutes.

Freeze it, and serve it with a piece of orangette on top. ENJOY!
