Greek Yoghurt and Cheese Mousse from Carmen
This was a cooking weekend.....After a busy week, I wanted to prepare new dishes for enjoying at home, posting in this blog, and sharing with you. We cooked Libanese food, new Christmas recipes, and a wonderful chestnuts cake that I saw in another blog to post it in this HEMC challenge.
When I saw the chestnuts cake, I felt in love with it!.....It was creamy, with texture, it has oranges, the picture of that blog was fantastic, and the combination of flavours was very appealing to me. After Sunday's lunch, I started to make it. I read the recipe and it looks easy. Nevertheless, there was something about this recipe that my mind started to telling me....."this recipe is wrong......"
I decided to try it.....I spent all Sunday's afternoon making it......and after 4 hours of hard work, the result was a disaster!!.....I think that I'm not that bad cook to end up with such poor result.....I think that blog is a kind of "nice pictures / bad recipes".....I don't understand why people waste their time taking wonderful pictures and associate them with recipes that are a pure disaster!!....Next time, I will follow my instinct!!
My husband told me that it was not a completely disaster. In fact, the taste was good, but the whole result a disaster. He asked me to do it again "my way"; therefore, this is my challenge for this week.....
However, I have followed my "instinct" before with excellent results. I want to share with you some of the recipes from your blogs that we have enjoyed making and eating them........Thanks Sonia for this wonderful Risotto with Shrimps and Asparagus and Thanks Carmen for both your fantastic Tomato Bread and your delicious Greek Yoghurt and Cheese Mousse.!!.....your recipes are excellent!!!
Enjoy the pictures!!
