I love burgers or sandwich during the summer time....easy, tasty and a full meal itself!
1 cup cooked red beans
1/2 cup of cooked rice (I had cooked rice from the sushi)
1 piece of bread
2 garlic cloves chopped
50 grams of grated cheese (whatever you had in the fridge)
Soak the bread in some milk until is mushy, but not wet. In a food processor, mash the red beans. Add the bread, garlic cloves, oregano, salt, pepper and egg. Transfer to a bowl. Add the cooked rice and the cheese. If the mixture is still wet, then add more rice or breadcrumbs. Make patties and fry them both sides. I make my own hamburger bread with Hilmar's recipe.
For the hamburger, I use cheese, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise, mustard and chili sauce.....Enjoy!
I made a pan ficelle al parmesano from Bego it was perfect for a bocata made with shrimps mayonnaise and dill, avocado and cucumber....Enjoy!
